Michelin star food at a fraction of the price
We stayed at the hotel nearby and walked here for dinner just because it was nearby. Wow. I had the BEST roast lamb I have ever tried in my life. I’ve been to several Michelin restaurants and I must say that the lamb here (for £18) was DEFINITELY up to that standard. The other dish was their panna cotta. Depth of flavour there – WOW. Their flatbreads too, they were so perfectly made!

This place has great, locally sourced food, kind and attentive staff and despite being a fine dining establishment were totally great with the four kids at our table of ten. The response to being treated so well by the staff was that all four kids were perfectly behaved and polite. It was a sort of magic. Sadly one that only lasted for three courses.
