The Horseshoe Inn is situated in the sleepy village of Eddleston in the Scottish Borders, 5 miles north of Peebles and only 20 miles south of Edinburgh.

Originally a Blacksmith’s Shop, 2005 saw significant refurbishment and a warm welcome now awaits all of our visitors from Vivienne and Patrick Bardoulet.

Whether it's a fine dining experience in our award winning Bardoulet's Restaurant, a meal in our informal Bistro or an overnight stay in one of 8 individually decorated, luxuriously appointed bedrooms, we are sure that you will be talking about The Horseshoe Inn for a long time to come.

We are open six days a week, only closing on Mondays.  For Bank Holiday Mondays we are open, but close on the Tuesday instead.  Why not take a virtual tour of Bardoulet's Restaurant, The Bistro or our Accommodation by following the links on the menu on the left-hand side.
